After School Events: This committee will help organize and plan any after school events. (Cookies with Santa, Sweetheart Dance, Science Fair, etc).

Book Fair: The PTO typically runs a week-long Book Fair in the fall and spring. Committee members assist in helping children select books, operate the cash register, set up the book fair.

Bulletin Board: Display your creative talents by creating the PTO Bulletin Board showing the schools monthly activities. The bulletin Board is located in the hall outside of the office.

Copying: Multiple times throughout the year, the PTO needs help making copies of the flyers we distribute. We also help the teachers and staff with their copying needs.

Donations: Soliciting for donations of gift/prizes from local businesses for various events throughout the year, such as basket raffles, staff gifts and event prizes for students. All donation letters must be approved through the officers and submitted to businesses on the official PTO Letterhead. We also can use help getting donations from chain stores to help stock the teachers’ rooms.

Gardening: We need your green thumb to plant and maintain flowers along sidewalks, drop-off circles and main entrance throughout the year, including seasonal items for decorations.

Fundraiser: You will be responsible for working with the chairpersons in contacting the companies, setting up the deadlines and distributing orders. You are also responsible for collecting orders and money and then turning the money over to PTO Treasurer. We are always looking for new fundraisers, so please share your ideas.

In School Events: Throughout the year there will be events that take place during school. (assemblies, hall decorating, field day, ice cream social, etc.)

Staff Appreciation: You will work to provide a monthly "treat" for staff as well as help organize staff luncheons and staff appreciation week.

Yearbook: This Committee consists of multiple people who are responsible for taking digital photos at different school events. You will also be asked to work with the Yearbook chair for layout of the book.
