· 12/8-12/11 snowflake drive – need volunteers to collect money, must have clearances
· 12/15 Staff Christmas luncheon 10-2?
· Christmas event 12/16 5:30-8
o General thought seems to be we will need shuttle with most of the 5th grade families in attendance-Christina to look into with Mrs. Lewis
o Donation requests will be sent out in the next few days for the cookie decorating station.
o Lots of craft items in attic that need used up
§ Everyone agreed to just have a multi craft station to use up what we have. We may need to purchase supplemental items for this.
· Room parties need sent out to parents
· Taxes are done, only charged $800 with extensive mess!
· $32,000 in bank account
o Charleston Wrap fundraiser brought in $1,957.40
· Sunshine committee asked if PTO willing to decorate outside of school for holidays
o General consensus-no
· Check from yearbooks needs cashed?
· Budget, missed 2 add ins into budget
o Forgot $200 for teacher retire gifts & $300 for Read across America week

· Events: all school glow dance broke into 2 sessions per age
· Need a lead for carnival?
· Next meeting January 13th
· Yearbook update: google meet last week, 2 people showed up
· Future fundraising- all in attendance agreed 2 fundraisers ok to run at same time to give options
o Thoughts are Pie Shoppe and Anderson’s candy out of Baden for Spring/Easter fundraiser

Assemblies
A lot of the ones from previous years are not well received anymore so we got signed up for the BMX assembly.
Cost was $4,000
Butler Eagle was asking questions about it also and interviewed Jamie and Sarah.
Assemblies going forward we will not have as many but looking to invest more money into better ones that would be geared more toward the school as a whole vs just certain grade levels

Sarah touched on how the security is tighter this year, and to not have volunteers come earlier than scheduled time.

Cost of the year book is $19.50, PTO sells them for $23.00 in order to cover all costs.
Try to sell 351 books each year.
All attendees were in favor of the prices of $23.00 for yearbook sales.

Budgets
$10,00 stays in account for new fence and chains for swings on playground
Library wants to keep on profits from book fair to invest in current library at CT.
Stated that we have $30,650 budgeted right now for the year, however that amount can change if parties/events are not as much as prior year.
Taxes and Accountant
Spoke to Bonus Accounting and unfortunately our taxes from 2024 have a lot happening so it is going to cost more this year to get taxes in order versus years going forward.
Heather suggested getting an estimate from Bonus accounting so that we can input it into the budget what to expect from them in doing the taxes.
